Chairmanship Handover G-77 and China made the Permanent Representative of Zimbabwe, Ambassador James Manzou to the Permanent Representative of Indonesia to the United Nations, WTO and other International Organizations, Ambassador Dian Triansyah Djani.

Permanent Representative of the Republic of Indonesia to the United Nations, WTO and other International Organizations, Ambassador Dian Triansyah Djani said, trust is a reflection of Indonesia's success in international forums.
"This belief is a mirror of success once the international community's recognition of the progress and contribution of Indonesian diplomacy in various multilateral economic forum," said Ambassador Djani shortly after the handover ceremony.
He said that, as Chairman of the G-77 and China, Indonesia will follow keketuaannya in the form of concrete action, realistic, and pragmatic.
"In addition to coordinating the joint position and voicing the interests of developing countries in multilateral forums, Indonesia will attempt to run the leadership of the G-77 and China with explorative approach, innovative and creative, not just business as usual," said Ambassador Djani.
Ambassador Djani explained several initiatives and visionary leadership of Indonesia, among others, will continue to boost the capacity of the negotiators of the G-77 and China through various training regularly.
In addition to the formulation of the road map of the revitalization of the G-77 and China face the 50th anniversary in 2014, and the establishment of Developedia, a container which would be a credible source of information and a reference various circles.
According to Ambassador Djani of Indonesia's leadership coincided with a crucial period for UNCTAD, namely the implementation of UNCTAD XIII Conference in Doha, Qatar, which will be held from 21 to 26 April and a conference that determine the future direction of international cooperation in the field of trade and development.
G-77 and China is a group founded in Geneva, on June 15, 1964 and consists of 132 developing countries. This group aims to promote the interests of developing countries in the UN and other multilateral forums. (source)
